I’m Gabe Ruiz, the founder of GB Grow Lawn and Landscape. I’m a husband, father and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
After completing my military service I attended The University of Tampa to develop business skills and knowledge. With a strong foundation in leadership, discipline, and teamwork acquired during my time in the armed forces, I was well-prepared. I eagerly applied these qualities to the world of entrepreneurship.
Combining my military background with my entrepreneurial education, I set out to build a business that not only provided high-quality landscaping services but also reflected my values of integrity, hard work, and dedication to customer satisfaction.
In June 2020, amidst the global pandemic, the seeds of GB Grow were sown. It began as a modest one-man operation providing top-notch lawn maintenance services to residential clients in our area.
As our reputation for quality work and customer service grew, so did our business.
Over the past four years, we have expanded our services to include landscaping design, installation, and maintenance, hardscaping and landscape lighting.
Through hard work, dedication, and a commitment to excellence, we have been able to grow our small business into a thriving team of employees.

Communication is KEY in addressing unexpected issues or delays. Our team will communicate any delays to you, providing transparent and timely updates on the situation and discussing potential solutions.
We work collaboratively with you to identify the root cause of the problem and develop a plan to resolve it efficiently.
We understand that flexibility is essential when dealing with unexpected issues or delays. Our team is prepared to adjust schedules and project plans as needed to accommodate unforeseen circumstances and ensure that the project stays on track.
Our ultimate goal is to ensure your satisfaction with the landscaping project.
We source all of our materials from reputable suppliers and local nurseries within Tampa Bay. It’s very important to us that the quality of the materials is top notch.
Once the design is finalized, we will select and order materials for the project. This can take anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks, depending on the availability of materials and suppliers.
We guarantee plant installations up to 90 days. These conditions will be discussed with the client upon approval of the estimate.
